What is muzydigital.stevuliak.net?

It makes research outcomes, sources and basic information about less-known pieces of music accessible to the wide public.

Here, you can explore the database of different works of many genres, get familiar with their composers and read articles about important developments, music history, regional specificities and other interesting topics.

The website also offers recordings of some of the works presented within it as well as musical material to enable their further performances.

About the creator:

Ján Števuliak (b. 1999) is a composer, organist, sound and performance artist studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, London. Coming from a rural place in northern Slovakia, he has a particular interest in sound ecology and sonic environments, which he often uses as an inspiration to produce musical works. He is enthusiastic about explorations in Early music and its forms, less-known pieces or composers.
